Today I presented my one minute speech to my group about over fishing and I got some feed back that I have to share with you.
What I did good: My keys facts related to the topic, Topic and key questions are identified and made some eye contact.
What I can improve on: Making more eye contact and Speaking slower.

I think that this is all true because when I was presenting the speech I noticed those things.
I have a lot of old stories backed-up in my Google Drive so I’m going to share this one called the time loop. ( This is a very old story I am better at writing now! )
Chapter 1
Nothing but blood.
Day one of the time loop.
It was 5:AM. I woke up, randomly I heard a slight rumble, as blue energy blasted through the city. I felt a sudden tingle, zapping through my body but I didn’t question it because I was going to be late for my first day of work!
I grabbed my favourite breakfast meal… Pop tarts! After that I jumped into my swimsuit and then I zoomed to the dock, I guaranteed that the rest of my new colleagues would be waiting for me. When I arrived, the rest of the crew were waiting for me, as expected.
Where have you been Izak?!? Everyone was looking at me like I had killed someone, but that wasn’t true! My new boss, Mr Plum, told us to get in the water right this instance or he’ll do it himself. As we slowly walked to the end of the dock, Mr Plum grabbed me and the rest of my colleagues and threw us into the cold, frightening water. Josh ( one of my colleagues ) cut his chest on the way into the water, the cut looked pretty gruesome. Josh looked like he couldn’t take the pain anymore so he swam up to dock and got out of the water but as soon as he did that Mr Plum threw him back.
Instantly Josh lost consciousness and blood poured out of his body and he started sinking to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. We couldn’t handle the thought of what Mr Plum would do to us because it would be like we killed Josh, so around noon we swam to the shore of the local beach and set off home. As I got home all that I could think about was Mr Plum finding out that Josh is dead.
Chapter 2
Josh.
Day two of the time loop.
It was 4:00 AM. I woke up. I already knew that if I got up at 5:00 AM then I’d be late again. So again I grabbed the pop tart box and opened it, but the same flavoured pop tart was there and the wetsuit wasn’t damp. Even when I was driving to work the
same sandwich was on the footpath that I saw yesterday, but the craziest thing that happened was that I saw Josh waiting on the dock with the rest of my colleagues!
I was starting to think this was a loop in time… but it wasn’t true right? I just didn’t want to think about it right now. Yesterday must have been a dream. So I got into the water. We were on a mission to find a rare Easter Island statue that has been impossible to find. We didn’t know how to find the Easter Island statue, but we knew that Mr Plum is very powerful and he would do anything to get the statue, he would even kill us if we didn’t bring the statue to him. Therefore we swam to the local beach and saw if we could get information.
We started with the old men and we asked them some questions like, have you seen some old statues in the bay around here?
But after hours and hours we couldn’t find anything that could lead us to the statues and it was time to get back to the dock.
We swam to Mr Plum and he was doing a little happy dance,
”What are you doing Mr Plum??”
“Ugh, why now Izak?”
“Because it’s the end of the day and we have done our shift for today??”
( Mr Plum gasps ) “did you find it, did you find it?!
“No..” said Izak.
“What!! You better find it tomorrow or I will kill all of you!!”
“Ok ok be calm”
“NO I WILL NOT BE CALM IZAK!” Mr Plum growled. Me and the rest of my colleagues ran home.
Chapter 3
Feeling dizzy.
Day 3 of the time loop.
Again I woke up at 4:00AM and got ready. I didn’t even question that the same pop tart was there and the wetsuit wasn’t damp and even that the sandwich was still on the footpath. I felt dizzy as I made my way out of the car and hobbled over to the water but then I collapsed… …
( Hours later )
“I hope he’s ok,” a colleague muttered.
“Same here..”
“Huh what happened??”
“Hi, I’m Doctor Plum.”
“Wait”
“- shhh you’re ok go home now, you just were exhausted”
“ Ok I guess… I went home and layed in my bed. I don’t know why I was exhausted but it was probably because I have been busy the past few weeks. I knew this was a time loop now, but I was wondering if anyone else is in the time loop.”
And that’s all I could think about as I drifted off..
Chapter 4.
Sunday.
Day four of the time loop.
It was Sunday. Maybe the time loop was finally finished, today I was going to grab a coffee with Josh and talk about how cranky Mr Plum is! But I got called in by Mr Plum, so I got in my car and left. I found it surprising that he wanted to talk with me after all, he was using me and the other guys for money. All he wanted was to be rich, if it was something stupid I would leave in an instant.
As I arrived Mr Plum didn’t look like he was in a good mood. George, Mr Plum’s son, was there.
“Hello Izak,” said Mr Plum.
“Hi-”
” I know you’re in the time loop and so am I. Do you know how Josh died that day? It was me!”
“Well that one was pretty obvious, you threw him in the water when Josh had an internal bleed!
“Ugh Izak, just let me have some fun.”
“Sorry I didn’t know you were having fun.”
“And I’m the Doctor that checked up on you.”
“ I know that too.”
“ No you don’t!”
“ You looked the same and had Plum as a surname.”
“Well I THINK TOMORROW WILL BE YOUR LAST DAY ON EARTH IF YOU DON’T FIND THE STATUE TOMORROW!! After that I ran into my car and zoomed home..
Chapter 5.
The spark.
Day 5 of the time loop
My alarm didn’t go off for some reason.. Something wasn’t right, but I needed to find that statue or I didn’t know what would happen to me.
I dashed to the dock as fast as I could, only to find out that Josh wasn’t there and Mr Plum had a grin on his face. “Come on now, get in the water!” Said Mr Plum. I just ran into the water as fast as I could. We went down further than usual and I saw a light blue spark, but it was time to go back to the dock. I swam to the beach just so I wouldn’t see Mr Plum and from there I found my car and went home.
Chapter 6.
The Axe.
Day 6 of the time loop
I was so scared to go and see Mr Plum but I had to go in the water before he did anything. I decided to drive to the beach and swim to the rest of my colleagues.
When I met up with them Josh was there. I didn’t know if it was just me but surely this had to do with Mr Plum right? I told my colleagues to follow me. We swam to where the blue spark was and we finally found the statue. I wasn’t thinking straight so I swam up to the dock and was about to get out of the water when I saw Mr Plum. He had an axe in his hands and BOOM……
I woke up on the dock at night and there was a blue spark over my head. I had no idea what was going on, so I just limped home.
Chapter 7.
Mr Plum.
Day 7 of the time loop
4:AM I woke up like every other day.
It was like the first day of the time loop. Everything was the same, but when I arrived Mr Plum’s jaw dropped clean open. I didn’t know what to say so when everyone got in the water I said, “I found the statue” and then I dived into the cold clean water..
Everyone went another way, but I went straight to the statue. When I was looking around it I found a giant blue spark in the water, I touched it and it popped! I heard a slight rumble as blue energy blasted everywhere. It looked the exact same as when the time loop started, but I knew what I had to do.
I got out of the water as fast as I could at the local beach and I called the police. I told them about Mr Plum threatening us, and how he had hit me on the head with an axe. I had proof because there was still a mark on my head.
I ran towards Mr Plum ” IZAK, HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?” he shouted
“I guess I was just lucky? But this is the end of you.. Mr Plum.. “
“PUT YOUR HANDS UP!”
“NO THIS IS NOT THE END OF ME!!” said Mr plum.
“Mr Plum you’re under arrest for theft of servers and abuse.”
“He committed theft of servers?”
“Yeah we had a look at Mr Plum’s history and apparently he did?”
“I DIDN’T DO THAT! HEY GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!” Yelled Mr Plum. “Izak this is not the end of me! I’ll be back and you’re not going to be ready!”
“Mhm sure,”
Bye, have a lovely time!”
“You little”- ( The door slams shut )
“Thanks,” Izak said.
“No Problem!” Said the police.
“The time loop will come back and it will end you Izak and I know it..”
